Morning all, i've been a bit quiet over the last few days busy at work and home but managed 2 more NDS's, saturday and yesterday. I could have had sunday but I had to get some honey for my honey glazed ham for dinner

spoon xThanks! ... it felt so tempting! They had books on recipes with chocolate, quick recipes for two, recipes for muffins, recipes for beginners... and then i thought that I have plenty of cooking books at home, some of them never used... so I put them back. But the pics in there looked so tasty!! Lol
Not nsd for me today or yesterday. I am going to go out in a bit for a shopping. Budget is £50, let's see how I do and how many things I manage to resist! lolQuit smoking *1st January 2010*

Hello, lovely NSD'ers
Am being a bit premature, but am confident that today will be NSD 11 for me please Spoon and SF x Was going to go shopping today, but my lovely DH went yesterday after work and stuck to the list so am very pleased about that! Am visiting my friend today who has just had a baby (6 weeks premature, but came out of hospital two weeks after birth), then back home for more housework and walking the dog (without my purse!) so barring emergencies, I should be fine!
Hope everyone else is having a frugal NSD sort of day (but still having fun!) Hugs to those who need / want one x See you all later xBe the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

Morning all
Today I should reach my target of 7 NSDs as I have decided the bits we need can wait til the shopping arrives tomorrow (its a day earlier than normal but the delivery was cheaper) so providing nothing unexpected happens then it should be fine!

Good morning everyone!
I haven't been on here for a couple of days, so had loads of pages to catch up on! ...
suzie - Glad the van incident worked out, what a reasonable person; as others have said, it's refreshing to come across someone like that these days!
jane - Congrats on becoming a Gran!
KT, 2joanne, jessie18 - A big hello and welcome to the thread, if Spoon or SF haven't officially welcomed you and added you to the front page yet, I'm sure thay will soon.
savingcaz - Ouch! Hope your thumb is feeling better.
I hope everyone who has been feeling glum and/or unwell (including lotti379 and toothless Emma! - Ouch!) is feeling better today!
kath - Welcome back!
jintyb - Hope you manage to sort out you're sleep patterns - I've been noticing you're early posts, as I'm normally an early riser and skim thorugh the tread first thing, and your post at silly o'clock is normally the most recent post that I read. Are you stressed/worried about anything at the mo? If I'm worried about something (normally it's money!), I end up having a dreadful nights sleep, and so just get up at silly o'clock, rather than tossing and turning in bed! It makes me feel better, because then at least I feel I'm up and doing something rather than just lying in bed and thinking about it - a little less talk, a little more action - I like to sing along to sometimes!
Anyway, enough of my verbal diarrhoea, time for my update ... looks at sig to double check ... I'm now up to 12 NSDs! Woo hoo! I'm hoping to reach my pledge of 6 NSDs in-a-row this week as I've just fallen short so far this month.
Have a good day everyone, good luck with collecting NSDs - the sun is shining and long may it continue!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:

Hi jessie:hello:
Welcome to the funny farm we call the NSD thread:D. You are more than welcome to join us, it's never too late here
I will add you to the roster when I do an update later today in the meantime please feel free to join in with the chat and general nonsense on here. You might occasionally get a sensible answer out of some of us as well:D Seriously, ask away if you need to know anything we're a very friendly and helpful bunch.
Would you like to set a target for the remainder of January? If so, I'll add that to the front page as well along with any you've been able to grab so far this month.
Hope that's OK?
