I am in the middle of making an ISA transfer to Nationwide. Next week their "Promises" will come into effect http://www.nationwide.co.uk/savings/savingspromises/
I know it is Christmas time, but I have already been waiting 3 weeks. Is it likely I will start earning interest from the 4th January as the small print says?
My last experience with an ISA transfer was that I lost out on 2 weeks' interest because they had to carry the pound coins by donkey from one bank to the other!:mad:
