Vodafone Employee Advantage/Quidco Cashback

HI,

Im wanting to buy an iphone 4 with Vodafone for personal use. I have been told by my company that as i have a work phone with Vodafone I am eligible for a 20% discount on the iphone 4 per month

The question is - Can I buy the iphone on the vodafone website via Quidco and get the £40 cashback?

I did ring Vodafone and the sales team said it was at my own risk - in other words they may not give me the 20% discount as I did not "buy" the phone directly with Vodafone?........

Does anyone have any experiences of the above?

It won't work with the Orange employee discount, so I doubt it.

Also, Voda is painfully slow (sometimes) in paying out through Quidco. My last one was 2 years before the money was received. . .

I was thinking the same but I will be essentially going on the voda website (via Quidco) to purchase the iphone so ideally they should honour it......I spoke to their telesales team again n this time the guy said there should be no problem lol....the whole thing has got me confused and Im kinda wondering if it is worth the hassle for a mere £40 cashback -

2 months for mine....Though the iPhone went back, on Voda round my neck of the woods, Beds/Cambs, reception was awful. Went Three in the end.

Based on the details you've given, I've spoken to your Staff Accounts team and they have said that this should be fine.

However, before placing your order I would suggest sending an email to the Staff Accounts team to confirm the details. They will make 100% sure that your discount can still be applied when they have the full details.
