Does anybody have an email address for Avon? I AM SO SICK OF THE CALL CENTRE, I keep reporting Credits and discounts missing from my account and I am being assured they have put them on this time only to find my account is still in the red!!

I haven't had any of my ANEW Skincare set £10 voucher off full size products which means they owe me £30 because I had to honor customers vouchers, a top I sent back 5 campaigns ago is still missing from my account and I have ordered two of the free skincare sets when you purchase skincare products from Hello Tomorrow and neither have arrived or appear on my order...and that;s only the tip of the iceberg, I am really beginning to wonder if its worth it for the pennies I am earning!

just signed up as avon rep and put first 75 books out
and collecting them in monday so fingers crossed I get some orders tomorrow I am putting another 75 out and another 50 on sunday.then it will be time to collect them in.
so hopefully I will get some big orders to give me flying start.

    Sounds busy :)

Just wondering - how many houses did you get with your territory & did the rep give you all those books straight away?
Is it worth having less books over a rotation over the 3 week period?

    Good luck!
    Now proud Mumto3 :j

Hi fell lucky the sales leader give me 80 books from old campaign (11) and 60 books from this campaign (12) which ends this week and territory is about 450 houses
also been giving another area but been told not to drop books but go door knocking as mapping system says there are family friends and friends just to test water.

It's good that they told you F+F reps were in your allocated streets. Some may not have any neighbours as customers, some will have a few, some will know everyone on the street, some will have taken it upon themselves to canvas their street (without knowing everyone). You never know how wide a network F+F reps have so knocking on doors is a good idea.

Even if you post books, though, a rep who serves individual customers on a street should know full well they've got no reason to get shirty if a territory rep canvasses for customers (where they're allowed to). If you're going to post books anyway if no-one answers you could add to your intro note something like "if you have a rep please continue to use them", or a tick-box to say "I already have a rep". So again, their existing rep can't accuse you of poaching or trying to confuse customers into ordering from you.
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

Looking for a little input. I have been doing Avon since the beginning of this year and I am 20 weeks pregnant. My sales leader has spoken to me about becoming a sales leader so if I need to ease off a bit when baby is born I will still have my reps. And everything is set up for me to go. In theory I like this idea.

However, I have been registered as self emplyed for about 2 years already due to mystery shopping and paying ni, so my understanding is I will be entitled to claim full maternity allowance. I hadn't even worked out yet if i would be able to work doing regular Avon around this. My sales leader basically said my sales leader money would go straight into my bank account so they wouldn't know. But I am really unsure what to do, I don't want to take this on and then let people down after a few months. But £130 ish a week maternity allowance is more beneficial to me.

That's bad advice - if you earn more than a think £1k as a sl in a year Avon send the info to the tax man, I had a letter saying they'd sent my info. As you're already registered self employed though you should be able to just add all your Avon stuff onto your mystery shopping and do one tax return. I'd check, but I'm sure you can do that.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

Tbh that is what I am going to do anyway, I think I am going to have to find out what I can and can't do around the maternity allowance. I very much want to stay within the rules, but I would like to try and keep my Avon running somehow, and do the sales leader thing if I can.

Hiya, I am an Avon customer (I shop online and use my mum's Avon lady). I just wanted to say that, as a customer, the most attractive think we find about our Avon lady is that her mantra is 'No order too small", and she is 100% reliable and always delivers and collects at the time she says she will (or contacts us if she is ill). She sometimes gives little gifts but the most important thing to us is that we trust her and feel free to order just a couple of shower gels if that's all we want.

If customers are spending £25 then they can get free delivery, cashback with quidco and free gifts too online, so unfortunately the online service tends to 'outdo' lots of the reps offers. But because we have got to know our rep slowly and have built up a friendship with her we tend to make small orders year round and then out of loyalty to her buy our bigger orders from her too, when we want opresents, or need lots of new make-up. (I should confess, I do shop online too because if I need new foundation etc then I don't want to wait 3 weeks to get it!)

All this to say though that although you obviously need to try to get big orders, pointing out the smaller things on special, eg the 99p shower gels etc, can also be a good way to draw customers in. :D
