freesat dish to basic sky box

if i have a freesat dish that goes to my bedroom can i use that same dish to connect to my basic sky box in my lounge to get my sky channels.would the freesat dish work for my skybox with a quad lnb or would i have to have sky dish as well.
ive got an old sky dish thats no good up at the mo but having freesat dish up to my bedroom. help the confusion is drivin me mad

Freesat and Sky use the same dish and LNB system, if you have a quad or octo LNB you can connect the second box without any problem.====0

No such thing as a Freesat dish, both Freesat and Sky use the same minidish and LNB, with the same alignment.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Yep, as above, it's the same dish, with the same LNB in it, pointing in the same direction. Run a cable into whatever room the box is in, and that's it.0
