mobile family plans?
Options
Hi,
I am looking at family plans for my husband, my son and I. My husband and I both have iPhone 4's and my son a basic phone he uses for the odd text and call to us (max 5 texts and calls a month). I also want to use the internet and would prefer 1gb of data.
Can any one recommend a family plan?
Thanks in advance.

Are you currently committed to any contracts or are you in a position to transfer to any network? Do all networks get a signal in the places that matter to you? Are you looking for contract or PAYG or just whatever is cheapest?0

If you go with Giffgaff and top up £10 each, you can make free calls and send texts to other giffgaff members for 3mths.
Giffgaff also includes free unlimited internet until the end of Feb 2011.
Once topped up you can use the phone on a payg basis or opt to buy a monthly package (goodybag) which start at £5
They run on the 02 network and are 100% internet based however, I recommend them as the best there is out there.

I think Vodafone offer a "family deal"
One persn pays a fiver a month and all calls between the nominated phones are inclusive.
However going one better that i have just out.
Virgin mobile plans...Some of there plans are inclusive of calls and texts between virgin mobile handsets.

Thanks all. We aren't committed to any networks - I finish my o2 contract this month and the others are both payg. I don't really mind contract or payg and all networks seem to be ok in our area so I am just looking for the best deal. We don't use the phones a lot for calls but I do need a decent Internet allowance. I will investigate your suggestions. Cheers.0

If you need any assistance with giffgaff just ask. There's plenty of happy users.

Are 3 still offering ridiculously high amounts of free 3 to 3 calls per month? They're now doing a ONE tarrif that has apparently truly unlimited internet which would be good for an iPhone user.0

Not on PAYG any longer.Sim only plans still have big 3 to 3 allowance.
Giffgaff seem to be the best.Everyone top up with £10 and you can talk and text each other for free for 3 months(then just top up £10 again for another 3 months).Internet is free until Feb28th (100mb per day).
