  • The trick is a syrup to pour over the crushed ice. Juice just isn't thick enough or sweet enough

You'll need to make one or buy one.

Initially try a raspberry high juice squash over the crushed ice, see how it goes.

That would be too sweet. I only looked until I found one company that did the stuff, but there must be others, or ingredients or something.

My mother used to own a sweet shop that made ice lollies. The syrups where available in Booker.
  • I wonder if you could thin out a jam a little bit with some juice to make it more like a syrup. Wow, this is bringing back memories - the corner shop near where I live does sell them, so I might have to go for a walk later!

  • I have craving for slushies all the time and the easiest way is to buy the cheap 20p ice pops from the corner shops, then bash them and its the same but not as sweet or cartons of juice, especially pineapple (small ones) break down like a slush.

I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Whack a slosh of vodka in it for extra special celebration slushy. Yum.
