Find the owner of a Mobile number

I am trying to find owners of Mobile phone numbers.

My Wife is being pestered by some companies, calling her Mobile, using Mobile numbers - I have, at least,4 different numbers but all very close to each other. On calling back, the phone appears to be answered then hangs up - automated I think.

The only sites offering this service, appear to want serious money to help.
Would anyone out there be able to supply a website that does this for free, or a nominal fee?

If I have to, I will have my Wife change her number, but, as she has had this for some years, would prefer not too.

Thanks & Happy New Year to All.
Yours

if she is being harrased / pestered by unwanted calls etc then i would let the police and her mobile subscriber deal with it.
What are you going to do if you do pay out and find out who it is?
go round and give them a beating and then end up in hot water yourself?
Nah let the authorities deal with it

  • I registered my mobile number with the tps service and haven't been receiving unwanted calls since, its free to sign up, can also do it for landlines, was being constantly pestered with kitchens direct, thankfully no longer!

yep I would let the network deal with it as above but also depending on what phone she has there are either built in or 'apps' that can block calls, if it is an android phone you can send a number direct to voicemail and as you say the numbers just hang up then no voicemail would actually be left.
  • Last month I had the same number calling my work mobile every day without leaving a message. On Googling the number, I found out it was a company flogging blinds
    Keep calm and carry on
