    Which credit report did you check? Barclays do not use Experian (Credit Expert) so it won't appear on their report. (or at least mine doesn't!!)

    Yeah i Used experian - credit expert. Asif. Which one do they use? I wouldnt have thought it would matter because surely they all share the same information?

    I had random accounts opened in my name last year. I found the banks to be useless but CIFAS were very helpful. The worst bank was A&L. They wouldn't even talk to me about the fraudulent account. CIFAS stuck a rocket up them and it was all cleared up in no time after that.
    Might be worth having a chat with them.

    Really, I'm going to citizens advice about it, I'm going to use CIFAS's protective registration to stop anything like this happening
