Does anyone know where to buy a battery for the Binatone Speakeasy GSM ?

I've tried contacting the seller (and others) to no avail. Tried to phone Binatone MANY times but they are constantly engaged.
My mother purchased this phone about 18 months ago and has hardly used it, but now the battery is hardly holding any charge at all. Apparently this is a common fault, either due to a poor quality battery design (Made In China) or the phone itself.
Can anyone advise please?
