Ann Summers - watch out for refunds

Options
Just a warning...

I ordered some stuff from Ann Summers (perfectly innocent items, I assure you!) and returned some of the order.

When I went through my statement I noticed they'd refunded me £15 less than I was owed. I contacted them and they just said it was a mistake and they'd refund the rest.

There was no explanation for this so who knows how many times they make this 'mistake'...

  • In my experience they have refunded just fine.

hahahahahaha, you're coming onto a forum, wasting your christmas time off to moan about a mistake which ann summers held their hands up about and have said they're going to rectify?

still, there's always the possibility you'll get a life. Maybe.
  • Just to add...

I ordered some stuff from a party and when it didn't fit (pajamas, not thongs) they said they couldn't refund only offer a credit note. the party host ended up sorting it for me by sending it back as 'faulty'. DOn't like their returns policy at all!
  • You should try LoveHoney instead - more products, better prices, better customer service and a great returns policy :D

If you say you are cancelling under the DSR they will refund you in full, you need to make them aware of this otherwise they try and give vouchers/credit note

    deanos ...

Can you cancel via DSR - after all you would have seen the goods beforehand?

You have a job? Good grief.

The forum is called "Praise, vent and warnings".
The user posted a warning, based on their experience.
What part of that were you unable to understand?
