Hello everyone,
I have sold personal things on ebay before and now have run out of stuff to sell so I'm interested in buying stuff (maybe shoes:)) from wholesalers (only small lots as I dont have that much space) and selling them on on ebay. Does anyone have any advice for me? I'm worried about spending money on stuff and then it not selling!
Thanks:)0 -
Hi guys,
I had 2 items end over the weekend and yet again no bids so no sale :-( One of them had a watcher but nothing came of it. I've listed them a couple of times already so I might put them on the backburner for a bit and see what else I can sell! I might go to my mum and dad's this week and grab a box or 2 of stuff I never took with me when I moved out - see if there are any goodies in there I can sell!!
Congrats to everyone who had items sell over the weekend

Hope everyone is doing well!!!
I managed to make £270.00 even after fees on my 29 sales this month! Yay!:T Best part of it is that I cleared out stuff we've wanted to get rid of for ages! That means I've £730 left to achieve on my 2011 goals.
All my best for everyone!

2013 goal is getting rid of all my clutter and it would be a bonus to make £2000 again doing so!
£291/£2000 = 15%

I sold a few more bits at the weekend... £11.52 profit after postage & fees, which makes my total for January £199.86... a measly few pence short of my £200 aim, so I guess I can forget the 14p & pretend I made it!0

Total for Jan after fees etc was £124.80 am happy with that although have had to pay myself the money to help pay off the christmas overspend!!!! Have listed and relisted some items and am planning on getting as much as possible on this month to try to break these bills!!!!
The holiday may have to take a back burner until next year, as we really need to get these debts paid off ASAP so that we can start living a better quality of life on a day-to-day basis.
Have just seen a designer dress marked down from £136.95 to £10 don't know whether to risk it and try it on ebay with starting at £15. It's really pretty for summer/weddings etc and is a size 20. Anyone had any success with this kind of thing. It would be BNWT as well, but am not sure I want to invest £10 incase it doesn't sell???
Congratulations to everyone for a month well done on ebay!!! I wonder how much we made collectively this month????0 -

If you can afford to write off £10 if it doesn't sell then I'd personally go for it. I've heard that larger ladies sizes tend to go well on ebay
I've made about £70 this weekend selling some old video games - posted them off today - happy days0 -
I must really get on & list rather than feel sorry for myself !!!!
anyone know when a free listing day is coming????

This weekend will be 4 weeks since the last so I'm hoping it'll be this weekend, before Christmas they were every fortnight for a bit but that hasn't happened again.
I've got a box of 'free listing day stuff' that I couldn't part with for 99p and then another with stuff I'm happy to start at 99p and keep putting a few of those on each week.
When one is announced it's normally on ebay, and on the ebay board on here! the Thursday before.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Hi
Ive very pleased to announce my January total of ebay sales after fees but not postage
£264.00 ~ will have to work out after postage
Still waiting on 4 items to be paid for but Im going to add them to my Feb fund
I have 14 items ending today ~ 6 with bids on already and 4 with watchers so when I get back from work Im hoping for a nice surprise
My best sale was a top shop handbag at £35:j:j
I was bought an identical one for christmas afew years ago which my dog ate!!!!! then I found an identical one at a car boot last year so I bought it to resell on ebay last year (never got round to it)
I only paid 50p for it so listed it at 99p and was amazed at the final selling price
Good luck all other ebayers ~ off to update the signature
