Yeah, she says the postage cost is £2.70 (my reckoning is it should be £2.20, but I'm not going to quibble about 50p), so she's adding £1.30 for packaging and other expenses. That's a lot more than I add, but maybe she hasn't figured out where to buy cheap packaging? I'll see what it arrives in - if it's a bin bag and packaging tape, I'll be less generous in the stars...
Well, it's arrived. Stamp worth £2.20, some of the sender's old plastic packaging which has been turned inside out, and packaging tape.
It's such a shame because the items are lovely. I think I'm going to have to leave neutral feedback. It's either that or leave positive feedback and low stars for P&P, but that seems a little underhand.Mortgage when started: £330,995

hi all, got a couple of queries, hope someone can help.
sold an item yesterday, buyer sent message that can't pay until their pay day, which is the 25th. Listing asks for payment within 3 days. Is there anything I can/should do?
And had a message today from a bidder on an item finishing next week. Says their paypal account has been scammed, will I accept cash/postal order. Listing clearly says paypal only. Again, what should I do?Lost 38.5 lb with SW so far, 56LB to go!:A

Hi Mymamma - its annoying but I would probably wait for the one who cant pay until the 25th. Ive had a couple do this to me.... Basically you cant open a no pay case until 5 days (I think!) and you would lose your fees if you just relisted the item as I dont expect the buyer would agree to a mutual cancellation.
The second bidder.... Im not sure. I wouldnt want them sending me cash! I have had people send postal orders before and they are fine. In fact its them who are not covered by items getting lost in post etc as there is no proof of payment for them. Just make sure you get the postal order prior to sending the item.
Listerbelle - sorry just noticed your question! On myebay if you scroll right down to the bottom underneath announcements you should be able to see how many 99p listings you have used.
Everyone paid today - happy days. I have just finished packing. Shame they were all sold on my newer account which needs positive feedback to be left prior to the funds being released!0 -
Mymamma, I agree with Sophiasmum, wait for buyer 1 until the 25th, and insist on a cheque or PO from buyer 2.
Glad they have all paid up Sophiasmum, I have just two slow payers left and have been a packaging diva tonight. Flippin exhausted now as it has been a long day today, too.31.5/1000 -

Thanks!
My account recently went from 10 to 100 free 99p listings a month. I hope that the more items I have for sale, the more interest it will generate. (Unfortunately most items are baby clothes and bundles, of which there are 10000s on ebay.)

Suggestions please...
Just had a card from sorting office, need to pay £6.30 to collect an item with insufficient postage paid by sender. Can't imagine what's happened, I paid £3.50 for postage when I bought it. What should I do?Lost 38.5 lb with SW so far, 56LB to go!:A

Do you know who it's from? I'd ask ebay for their advice - could be done as an item not received maybe?
