So like I guessed I have a problem with a buyer. I'm going to post our current communication history and if anyone can offer advice I would be greatly appreciative as I'm very new to selling on ebay.

    Buyer 2/3/11:
Hi, I'm really interested to this item. Would you like to stop the auction with 5£ + postage cost.
All other auctions of ipod boxes terminates on 4£ usually.
If you want you can put the 5£ price buy it now, and i'll pay for it today.
    Thanks
    Me 4/3/11:
Thanks for your offer but I'd like to wait until the end of the auction
8/3/11 Buyer wins iPod nano box
    Item posted the next day
    Buyer 12/3/11: Hello,
can i have the tracking number of the shipment?
    Me: 12/3/11:
Heya, I'm afraid there is no tracking number printed on the receipt, sorry.
    Buyer 13/3/11:
If I don't receive it on Monday, the feedback is negative.

That's a bit soon to say that if he doesn't receive it by tomorrow then he's going to give negative feedback. The only reason I didn't want to end the auction earlier was because I would've had to pay buy it now fees and for one thing I have no idea how to end the auction early anyway.

What should I do? It's not the end of the world if he leaves negative feedback but will he want a refund, etc, and how do I go about doing that? Also I read something in this thread about waiting 15 days before giving the refund then getting a refund for postage from RM. Is that right? If so, how do I go about doing that?

Any advice would be lovely <3 Thanks

Hi, I have had a few like this before.

I would scan the certificate of posting or photograph it if you haven't got a scanner and email it to him and say that Royal Mail do not class items as lost until 15 working days have passed and give him the link to Royal Mail. That way you have covered everything.

Have a look at the feedback he has left others to see if he is a serial neg person.

    Good luck

I am a bad girl. I currently have no auctions running but that is because I didn't have time. I finally after a total of 3 years I finished moving out of my dads house! What that means is lots of random rubbish - sorry, highly sought after stuff - to list when I can.

I found a few magazines and the like, I'll list them all in hope. Anyone want a Cosmo from 2005?! or a random batman issue of empire from 2005 I think?!

I have a question though. I also found old Chemistry World and Chemistry in Britain magazines, about 2 years worth. I can't find any others on there for comparison. Should I list them as a job lot? in batches? or individually?!

    HELP!!
