Apologies, I meant feedback together with completing that the item was received.0 -

I think I'm going to have a problem with one of the items I've sold because I sent it Monday/Tuesday and the guy emailed me today asking for the tracking number (yet items I've sent after that have already arrived)
How do I get a tracking number? Is it only on special delivery or whatever?0 -
I sold 3 items last week & sent them by recorded delivery, but only one buyer has given me feedback saying the item (handbag) was received 'a bit squashed in the mail' Not too sure what I could do about that - it was well bubble wrapped. No feedback yet from my other 2 buyers which I really needed as I'm a newbie
I'll wait for the next free listing & try a few other items as I've plenty of clothes that could do with new homes;)
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -

Was it a big item (ie too big to fit through a letter box?). I would say it was posted on xx day and ask them to check with their local sorting office to see if they have it there as sometimes they don't have a card.
I had 7 parcels missing once and went to the sorting office and low and behold there all of them were I was really annoyed I had not been left a card, sometimes I think they can't be bothered or if they are running late they don't bother trying to delivery.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Oooh I've got 2 watchers0

I'm being really really rubbish still. I started well in January but can't keep the momentum going. I've made close to £400 so far this year.
I'll add to my sig so that I can keep a tally.
Is anyone else finding that there are loads of watchers but not bidders, I find that if people watch first without bidding then it either goes unsold or goes for the start price. The few things where I've had a bidding war have had bids early on. When I first started selling on ebay several years ago almost everything sold, now 10% of stuff sells. What I have varies from clothes to household including vintage & antiques.
Clothing is in sizes 14-20 all the sizes I've been in the last few years, most are decent makes, M&S ranges, Next, Laura Ashley, Monsoon etc mainly linens, silk, cashmere & wool. Generally only worn a couple of times. Not fashion stuff thats had it's day but I can have 20 watchers & no bidders. Loads of pics, descriptions inc measurements & low starting price, although admittedly not 99p as I would like more than that for it. Usually between 1.99 & 3.99 start, maybe I like crap & don't realise it.
I have loads of decorative stuff, candles, picture frames etc that i've had as presents & are still boxed & aren't selling.
I get fed up with listing the same stuff but can't bring myself to CS it all.
I guess I need to be brave & list at 99p & be glad of the odd 50p's if it sells for the start price.0 -
Depends if you'd rather have 99p or something you're not going to use.
I've listed some magazines at a start of 50p cos the same stuff listed by others isn't attracting any interest at 75p and 99p but I'll be surprised if they go. I've tried to be aware that the postage and starting price doesn't exceed the cost of the mag 2 years ago... if a bidding war kicks off then great for me.
The stuff I'm listing on eBay now is what hasn't gone via Preloved or Freeads. Perhaps you can relist on there for a few weeks then try again on eBay?0 -
Some stuff just doesn't sell on ebay no matter what the starting price. I tend to use the rule that if it doesn't go first-time round, I try it on Ebid. If still not sold, then it goes in a presents pile.Never Knowingly Understood.
