I've tallied up my sales so far (still £6.99 unpaid - grrr) and it's £154.92 for February. Not too shabby as I was strugging to find higher worth items... Moves my total this year to £424.92 after all costs included! Only £600 or so to go...

Great to hear about everyone's goals and successes. It's so motivating to hear what everyone is doing and it gets my butt in gear to find more things to sell. This last bit is not going to be easy as I've sold most of my bigger things...

2013 goal is getting rid of all my clutter and it would be a bonus to make
£2000 again doing so!

• Unwanted Xmas gift - £11.60.

Went to a swap party on Sat night and picked up a few bits and pieces there which I've now stuck on eBay.

All have watchers so far.

I tend to spend the money back on eBay straight away - always something I need.

Grrr, I have got 6 unpaid disputes open at the moment, so frustrating!!!!! Just want to relist it all as I can't see any of them paying because 2 weeks have now passed. Got about 80 items listed and it does seem to be selling. All my stuff I listed from last week's free listing ended last night and got about £45 for 5 items so I'm pleased with that!

• Can I join this challenge???
I love ebay and have some items listed already - only little things but I guess every penny counts :-)
My challenge will be not buying anything on there!
Thanks x

Of course you can join us MiaowMiaow :)

I think I need to set myself a challenge to raise £x amount by the end of March because I am really struggling with listing my stuff. I look at it and wonder who would want to buy it and then put it down. Any ideas of how to get over that?

Anyway, at £128 paid this week but it is half-term which is a bad time to have 3 boys with you at the Post Office :rotfl:

BTW underwear set went..thankfully to a male who lives far away :T

5 of the 7 things I listed last weekend sold, well one was a relist and that sold. they didn't do too badly as they were all started above my usual 99p.

Broke with routine and didn't list last night, had a break, think I'm going to pop a couple of bits on tomorrow night on 5 day listing though as I don't want to stop completely. If I get time at work tomorrow will do some research.

Thanks mrscmr, have got 20 listings half prepared; just need to add photos and work out postage.

Am going to prepare another 20 tomorrow and add them all tomorrow night.

Well done on bids :T

• Another persons unwanted items are often another persons treasure.
I have sold allsorts on ebay - things I am going to just throw away I think well I might as well just list it incase - it is often the things you dont think will sell that do!!
I have 19 items listed at the moment , about half with watchers.
I try to wait to the free listing weekends although quite often if you just have one picture and its a main category it is free listing anyway.
My advice is also to be totally 100% honest - down to a mark on a handbag or a scratch etc - people still bid and they know you are being honest.
I buy packaging from poundland but also bought padded envelopes from ebay bulk which were cheap. I collect all bits of packaging and bubble wrap , boxes etc and store them.
anything that doesnt sell I am saving to do a car boot sale with.
