Orange charging for text delivery reports? Help.

I joined Orange a year ago where I went for the 100 free minutes & 500 free texts messages, costing me £25 per month. I'm a bit of a text freak so not only have I been sending near the 500 mark of texts each month, I also have my delivery reports switched on at all times.
I've never been charged for having the delivery reports, but now that I'm thinking of upgrading I have heard that I will have to start paying for them.
Can anyone confirm this & tell me why?
A repsonse would be much apreciated before I look at my options.
Thank you.

I haven't heard anything about this....
I highly doubt they will start chargiing, if they were going to, it would have been years ago! I've been using Delivery messages since '97CPW Retail

Apparently, they do on new tariffs.
I don't know if they do it on their old tariffs, however.
1p per delivery report.
A bit mean, i think. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Thanks for that info. If this turns out to be the case then it's going to cost me an extra £5 per month in delivery reports alone.
It's not just a bit mean, but disgusting if you ask me. Orange are making enough money as it is.
I think I'll start looking at other networks to see if they can offer me something better.0 -

They sent the information about delivery report charging in monthly bill a few months ago.
Its still free on old tariffs, chargeable on new tariffs and upgrades.0 -
