I think I need lessons in photography! Molly's daughter did my photo's. I shall be calling on her otherwise.!
Experimenting with my bags, as I do not have a pattern and they are mine, I am going to experiment with differnt types of pockets etc etc.
At the moment I am keeping the bags, "floppy" so they can be folded up, and used as shoppers or similar.
May have to think about the kind of decorations I could add as well.? Now I can start to have some fun. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I did manage to finish the 3rd bag of the week. This one has an extra external pocket for a mobile phone, as suggested by biggest of mooloo's, when she came to see me this morning. I have one more bag left to make from the ones I cut out on Thursday. But I am not sure I will get it finished today.
I wish I could find where my camera went, its really frustrating that I cannot find it.!
DGD is in bed. Hopefully she will sleep for me tonight, she was quite tired. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Unfortunately life has been a little fraught the last 24 or so hours. Hence I didnt get around to posting yesterday.
Twin2 and hr BF had an almighty row, and he is currently leaving her. She is devastated and a mess. So Mum was called, and ended up as a mediator followed by a grime buster, and while removing several bags of rubbish, and boxes of glass bottles, more was unearthed then I expected. He appears to also be alcohol dependant!
The place was a mess. Their relationship is also a mess, if not a nonstarter, never mind getting engaged a few months back.
DS has decided to Camp out there, to keep an eye on his sister, until the BF finally goes.
Biggest of Mooloo's had a scare yesterday, and was sent to the hospital to have her baby's heart beat checked out. So she wanted her mum, so it was drop the cleaning, (gladly!!), and cross to pick her up. Arrange for my Dad, (good old Dad), to take Twin1 and collect DGD from Nursery and leave at my house, till I got back from the hospital.
Luckily the hospital think that we are erring on the side of caution, and that they will monitor the baby again next monday, and see what happens. If they are not happy, after that they will refer her to the John Radcliffe in Oxford. (where DGD and DGS1 were born).
It was a very stressful day.
I was exhausted, and in a lot of Pain from pushing myself.
My phone wll not send or recieve text messages, so needs to be taken back to the shop, but I am unable to do that for a day or two. Not enough time or energy to get there.
Today the student social worker and her co worker are coming at 10am. DGD goes to nursery at 9am. So I will need to get organised. She is still asleep at the moment. I had my shower at 6.30. Still need to dry my hair etc. and get dressed. So I better move this aching old bag of bones! and hope the elixia? of life starts to run through my veins soon!!
I here DGD time to move. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Just wanted to say I had a lovely day with you today. A slow mooch around the charity and pound shops, some window shopping for some inspiration for Mooloo's bags and a lovely cuppa on a bright sunny day. What more could a friend ask for xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

I was so tired that when i collected Twin1 at 3.30 (DGD fell asleep so I didnt take her swimming), I came home and had a cup of tea and then went to bed for an hour or so.!
Back is very bad! The walking was a bit too much, ontop of yesterday, but I would not change it at all!
The broaches are the best find ever I think.
My bags are going up again on ebay. I am so excited.:DWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Oh Mooloo
That is such a shame for Twin 1 especially as things were going very well. Do you know whether he has always been alcohol dependent or has it all started with the stress of the situation etc.
Hopefully things can be resolved and if they have split up that benefits are notified quickly to stop overpayments.
I have been checking your bags on ebay - they are lovely. Unfortunately I have lots of shooping bags at the moment so don't need another one.

Hi mooloo
read but don't often post, glad you had a lovely day with molly and managed to sort your phone out. It sounded like you needed it after the previous day. Take care.0 -

I think that he may have already been quite a heavy drinker, but he seemed to have managed to hide it from me anyway. But its just as well we find out now.
Becuase he was working, (its twin2's BF,), she was no longer receiving benefits, and her housing benefit was also bein affected.
So she has to reclaim again.
Today I am taking twin1 to sort our her claim that was stopped as she couldnt get to a signing on in time, having fallen down the stairs and hurt her ankle. Dispite a telephone call, they cancelled her claim.!!
DS is stopping with twin2 to make sure she doesnt do anything stupid. I thnk her mental health is not good.
Re the bags, I will be making other types of bags, eventually, as I would go nuts if the bags were all the same!
But you must not worry about not buying them! Some one out there is interested in them already. Looks like I may get the kind of prices I was expecting for them afterall. A few hours left and I will find out.
Have the others that I made being photographed today.
Hopefully I will get to make more soon, this week the plans were rather disrupted and I havent managed it at all. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Just wanted to say a quick sorry to you Mooloo. I was watching one of your bags on ebay and meant to bid today when money came into the bank, but the Dr has given me new anti-histamines, so I'm feeling like I haven't slept in a month at the moment and completely forgot.
I hope that today has being better and that Biggest of the Mooloo's and the baby are ok. Take care xxxx0 -
