When you say they can't find any information on their system, do you mean at all or of your SAR request? Did you retain proof of postage which is trackable?

And no they shouldn't be leaving messages regarding your account on an answer phone. Just composing a letter for you to send and seeking a little imput from some colleagues from another forum

They had tried details i sent and nothing had come up so asked for more info and said that if the accounts were closed they wouldnt be able to find anything. They are willing to look again with more infomation and did not cash the cheque. my previous message should off said address not request sorry.

They should of held your details for a minimum of six years, but i can understand if you have moved address since and you didn't supply details.

Didn't HFO send you a copy of your agreement? This will have your details on? Have you checked that the address on the agreement you were sent is the same one you were at when you took the card out.

Will have a letter ready for you to send over the weekend. Just having a think how to play this one, bearing in mind the DMP etc
