T-Mobile vs Dial-a-phone T-Mobile
Hi, I'm after some advice!
I'm currently on T-Mobile, I'm due an upgrade and I want to change my plan.
Doing some research first, have come across an online deal on Dial-a-phone with T-Mobile for a HTC Desire HD with 600 mins, 500 texts and data bundle included, with half price line rental for 6 months making it £21.88 a month for 24 month contract.
I've called T-Mobile to see if they would match a similar deal from Vodafone (300 mins, unlimited texts, 500MB data allowance + half price line rental at same price as above) but was told they couldn't match it. I haven't yet asked about the T-Mobile deal.
I would prefer to stick with T-Mobile so I was wondering how it would work cancelling my current contract but then signing up to this online deal although technically I'm not changing provider? Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!

Cancel contract pay up remaining months on contract swap to new contract .
You are changing contract .

If you do not want the number you have already, its simple as telling t-mobile not to go beyond the end date of existing contract - i.e. give notice to end contract at right time.
If you want to keep existing number, get a free sim for another provider, give notice to t-mobile and get pac code. Transfer number to free sim, sign up for new t-mobile contract and transfer number back. I did that in April this year.0
