But if you are with Virgin (or not) then it is worth your while phoning them and seeing if they will price match , as for lots of people they will put you on their £20 a month sim deal for only £10.

Give this http://giffgaff.com/
A try apparently they are owned by 02, so run on the 02 network. They are good especially if u use a lot of data as they don't have a limit as opposed to the other networks, who impose ab 500mb a month for data. Three uk also have unlimited data now, u will have to google that deal. What av discovered nowadays is most networks offer pay and go data, it now all depends, on how much you use a month and how good is that particular network were you stay or work.0 -
If you go to Tesco be aware that they charge £4 a MB for GPRS (which is what you end up with lots of on an iPhone 4 even when you have WIFI in your home and your phone never leaves it) data charges if you go over your inclusive limits. I don't know about the others but it's worth finding out before you agree to anything.

Their network isn't great either on the iPhone 4.0 -
I have an O2 simplicity sim in mine with 700 mins 1400 texts and unlimited data, this works and you only have to change the settings on the phone. you don't get the free wifi hotspots, or visual voicemail. go into an o2 shop and speak to the o2 guru...(if you have one) the one I spoke to was great and activated the phone super quick.. with a micro sim.0
