Best ISAs without introductory rates

Hello All,

I am looking for a new ISA, however because my job has me travelling around a lot I would prefer to not go with one that has an introductory rate. Can anyone suggest a good Cash ISA that won't suddenly cut their rate in a years time. I understand that I'll be missing out on good interest rates.

Thanks,

If you are able to commit your money for longer periods, how about a fixed term ISA? You can fix for up to 5 years with some providers, thereby getting a good rate guaranteed for the period, the only thing is it's difficult to get your money out should you need to.

Have a look on the Banking/Saving tab on the top of the page and navigate to ISA and Tax free savings, you can then look through the relevant options. :j
  • As per aaronmanz post sounds like a fixed rate ISA would be your best option. You would have to leave the money in place for the full ISA term (some may allow withdrawals with penalties - 30, 60, 45 days loss of interest for example)

Also it is worth bearing in mind that most only allow one deposit, therefore you would only be able to make 1 deposit - i.e. currently up to £5,100 maximum (this may be changing by inflation for new tax year).
