Right now having spoken to the fraud dept they tell me the paymentswere taken by a company called Capital Finance???. They cant explain however how this company can have got my card or account details though, the only person I have given acct details to are my employers and they dont have card details
Asked them if they could do the same the next time i have wages paid in and told it was possible. Doesnt soulnd right to be
Apparently going to get another call from them Tuesday but not happy0 -
If you're certain you've not had any dealings with this company, (a payday loan perhaps?) then make sure the transaction is regarded as fraudulent. The Halifax should then return the money while they investigate.0

Its being investigated now but no money back while they sort it. What i woulkd like to know is how someone can just take money when never been given bank details- its mad. Nank cant seem to answer that one either0 -
Capital Finance are a payday loan company - http://www.capitalfinanceone.com/
According to their website, they ask for name and current address, work and income details, two contact phone numbers and email address, and your bank account details.
You sure you/someone in your family hasn't borrowed money from this company and given your details to the company?0 -

100% positive. Besides if it had been borrowed then surely money wouldve had to have gone in the account in the first place??
The account has only been open less than 4 weeks, and as stated before the ONLY people who have had the account details are my employers0 -
Fair enough.
You should probably check your credit file to find out if any further credit (or indeed any credit searches) have been taken out on your name, as it sounds like you could possibly be the victim of identity theft.0
