Early Upgrade

In March 2010 I took out a new contract with Orange for 18months (£15p/m 300mins, unlim text, unlim internet) and got a samsung S8000 jet.
Trouble is, I now REALLY want to get an iPhone! I have heard of people being able to get early upgrades. Does anyone know if it is possible or am I too soon into the contract?
Also any advice on the best strategy to take would be much appreciated!
Many thanks,
Sophie

Hi Sophie
Orange will allow an upgrade in month 15 and add the remaining 3 months onto a new contract. So earliest upgrade will be June this year. They used to offer early upgrade (you could upgrade when you wanted as long as you were prepared to pay the upgrade fee (Most expensive was £300 pounds)) however they were losing money by people making more money from selling the phones vs the upgrade fee.
Thanks

You can get medical help for that condition .

Sophie, there will more than likely be a new one in June, so you may as well hang in there.....If you're desperate, as an interim I'd look on AVFORUMS classifieds, and pick up a 3GS for 6mths, sell your Samsung there or to Mazuma to offset the cost.0

Back to OP. Do you really need an iPhone? It's going to cost you far more than £15 per month for a start.
If you're really that desparate, then settle up your existing contract. Will only set you back 9 x £15 = £135. Bear in mind a new iPhone probably won't come free unless you're prepared to pay at least £40 per month.0
