Hello all! what an amazing thread!! :T:T
I think I have sold all that is possible last summer on musicmagpie/amazon etc... OH has a phone or 2 to recycle but other than that am more than happy to pick up new tips on making extra money!!
am in a position too of seriously thinking of a career or at least job change ...it may well mean taking a quite substantial salary drop so anything I can make to go towards holidays etc and keeping life fun and ticking along! would be great..
we are having a clearout of the house over the weekend so will make sure I have an ebay/carboot/amazon box at the ready..
also loving the links to some of the crafting websites- the stuff on there is fantastic!! do any of you make it? and if so how did you get into doing it?
cheers all , will come back when Ive come up with some moneymaking schemes! :rotfl:0 -
I was reading the last few pages last night for inspiration and saw it then! Just used the link and my phone has gone up in value-£7! yep! I find that if you keep checking particular phones, the value goes up and down... think it depends on how much demand they are getting for the phone.0 -
well done jesa!
I added music magpie to the first post too. any other sites?
Anyone want to take over in Feb?0 -

Thanks Purple
What about recycling ink cartridges for the first post. I recommend The Recycling Factory (TRF) http://www.therecyclingfactory.com/uk/home/
They do phones as well but always check Martins mobile valuer for the best price first
Taken from their site "The Recycling Factory currently collects and recycles ink cartridges, toner cartridges and mobile phones. If you are a charity, large organisation or home consumer, you can quickly and easily begin recycling with us."
Maybe Hatton Garden Metals for gold - they pay the best online prices. I've used them for work & personally and even auctioneers and ex-dealers have recommended them to me. You could add that its always best to ask local jewellers to value your gold first to find out what carat and weight you have
Sorry I can't take over at the moment Purple, still too much going on in my brain to give the challenge the attention it needs to run itNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Posted my eBay items today and worked out that after fees and postage I have made £25.43. Also just signed up for the free one month credit report files mentioned in Martin's weekly email and if that tracks it should be £21.71. Won't count it til it's there tho.0

Urgh, horrible day yesterday; forked out £194 for new brake pads and discs, all had gone and the car was making a horrible grinding noise. The OH refused to do it himself so that in itself caused an arguement as we really dont have that kind of money to spend on 15, yes 15 minutes work! To top yesterday off we had another arguement about moving to London. He's got a job interview on Wednesday at the O2 which is very good money but it means finding a new, overpriced house to rent, pulling my boy out of school, starting my business(if even possible) from scratch and starting again. Now I've moved all my life; my father was in the RAF so im no stranger to packing! But for the last 11years I've been in Devon, I've moved around Devon and Im very happy here; finally somewhere I can call home. I know this has got nothing to do with making £10 a day but I need to vent because its stopping me from making money!! Any advice gratefully received2025 Mortgage start £378K 2025 Overpayment £103 Savings Challenge 2025 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0
