Well done Horace! I'd include it, its money you've made that you would've had to put months of work in to get back.

I've made £18.93 from overcharging on P&P on eBay...I was only putting what everyone else was...! :D

  • Hello everyone,

I'm new to this site and amazed at the willpower you all have when it comes to saving, etc. I would seriously love to join in and hopefully save with the sealed pot challenge, and make some money by selling on eBay, or, by any other legal means. I think that sounds promising if I pay heed to the advice you people have to offer. :)

I have been in a great deal of debt for the last 10yrs but thankfully, reached the final repayments in Aug 2010. I shall never again buy anything unless I can afford it. I also need to cut down on my weekly food shopping bills and pay heed to saving on my gas and electricity bills.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me with regards to these challenges which are posted on this forum. Am I too late for the January Challenge or some of the others?

Apologies for rambling on but I'm soo excited with this new found knowledge, I cannot wait to begin. :)

    Thanking you in anticipation,

    Samantha22

Hi Samantha! The more the merrier when it comes to this challenge; the more support we have the better we're likely to do :D

Why dont you do a little trial until the end of the month, say £5 a day? So 10 days (inc today) at £5 = £50-its £50 you wouldnt of had otherwise and you'll get loads of ideas for next month!

Good luck, we're all behind you!

I wondered what other people are doing, I am planning to transfer each month's total amount into a separate savings account, so that this extra money will accumulate and not get swallowed up or frittered away. The idea being that we budget for all outgoings just from our normal wage incomes.

I found this challenge in Nov 2007 and have been doing it ever since. Sometimes I've had months off, sometimes I've not posted here, but its started this whole "earning money online" thing for me. Back in 2007 I was at uni so used the money to survive, then I had a mortgage and no income for a year after uni, so this money went on paying the mortgage. Now its a mixture of things - if a bill like car tax is due then I don't worry about it until the start of the month that it is due and use the money from this challenge for it.

this month my aim of £500 is being split between three debts and money for a holiday to Florida that I'm booking next month. After Florida (in April) I suspect the money will go towards general savings so I can look at furthering my career, etc
    I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder

:j Make £10 a day challenger - it pays for trips to Florida! :j

try Martin's mobile recycling comparison site first,

and then see how much you will get for them. If they work you could try ebay and see how much you might get for similar.

Purpleroses, do you want to add this to the first page?
