I havent made any money today but my post this morning more than made up for it....

A letter from 10 downing street!!! My dad retired from the RAF after 30 years service, he has been to Afghanistan, Basra 3 times, Oman, Faulklands ect and to honour his long, loyal service they gave him a medal...in the post!! No ceremony(he supposed to get one) just the postman! So I complained to David Cameron and they reply briefly said that David himself will reply in due course.:D

I have a lady visiting me tomorrow for my first ever wedding cupcake taster. She's coming to decide which cupcakes are for her and what styles she would like on her big day, and more importantly-put down a deposit!!! She's given me very rough numbers but she's expecting over 100 guests at her wedding... :D $$$$$ :D !!

Well done nat21luv both of those are fab news!
  • Still on £0 :( Tips anyone? I'm a student who is pretty busy, don't feel I have any possessions I could sell (Got what I have on ebay), I'm trying the survey websites but they're slow earners. I started ticket selling fo local clubs today but no luck so far.

Oh and congrats on the recent successes nat21luv!

I see your a newbie; the first thing I did on this challenge was trawl the 'Reclaim £1000's' tab- I got back literally thousands! Tax rebate, Council Tax rebate ect, ok so CTrebate may not apply to you being a student but worth a look.
Do you have any skills? What about making things and selling them on Etsy/Folksy? Not an immediate earner but will set you up for months ahead. Dont necessarily see this challenge as a day to day, see it as creating options for more moneymaking ventures in the weeks/months to come! Thats what I like about this challenge; my plans for money making have spilled into the months ahead pretty much guaranteeing me extra income!

Quick update.. £255.50 to add so far from extra work.
I'm empting my purse of change daily pretty much into the sealed pot but don't count this towards this challenge as I'm waiting until opening day for that. All in all - good start to the month!!
