  • After an unexpectedly busy 10 days or so, I got back on the eBay wagon today. 16 things listed, and another few bits and pieces to go up when I get a spare minute through the week.

I also found a £10 note scrunched up in the bottom of my handbag, which I'm going to count, as I've no idea where it came from or how long it's been in there. (I suppose I should take the hint and clear the carp out of it more often... It weighs about 6 pounds less as well now:rotfl:)

Hope everyone else is feeling positive and had a great weekend. Already can't wait for my auctions to finish so I can come back and update my total!

So after obsessing over all my ebay sales last week, I ended up selling a measly 6 items for a grand total of 16.27 - and I have to take ebay and paypal fees out of that. Still better than nothing :)

Still have some items to finish in the next 30 mins including some Versace sunglasses which have 3 watchers so fingers crossed :) More to go on tomorrow night for me tho, as I have done nothing that I planned to do today!

However I have arranged to buy 6 books off someone for £7 so once they're read they'll go one ebay too! Unless anyone can suggest a better place to sell books?

Earlier I thought I'm never going to meet my £310 this month - but then realised there's still 2 wks to go

Books don't tend to sell well on eBay unless its something rare and collectable. Amazon is better for books. If they are paperback novels you will probably struggle to sell them on there too though I'm afraid as many go for 1p plus postage. I would recommend Green Metropolis for novels - they take a while to sell but you will get better money for them. £3 each minus what it costs you to post it
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

Finally got round to putting some items on eBay. Thanks for all the good examples set here - very encouraging!
  • Thats another few quid in the pot, I followed advice on the Grabbit forum about cashback from Caeasars Casino,
I deposited £20, got £50.50 back in cashback (TopCashBack - its just tracked). Someone said how to play roulette so I followed
their instructions and got £19 back as well, which I've just withdrawn back into my bank.
So for a £1 I've got £50.50 cashback to come, but it will take about 6 weeks to go in.

You could use this site to see if you have valuable books http://www.fatbrain.co.uk/Default.aspx I study and some of my old course books are worth £2 or £3.

Also if you have a box of old paperbacks or hardbacks some recycling companies will pay you for them but they only pay about 3pence a kilo (a kg is about 2/3 books on averag). Its not a lot but depends on how many you have and if they are in bad condition you couldnt sell them anyway.

I know theres the Nationwide Bookbuyers that operate in Northern England/Scotland but not sure about the you Southerners!!. :p
