    Some lovely bits here. Sorry if i am being thinck but never seen or heard of a Tawashis - can someone explain what this is? Thanks

    Not thick at all - I hadn't heard of them until recently.
    They are used to wash dishes - I wrote this to explain when I package mine with a dishcloth

    Tawashi Poem

    I made you a Tawashi, though you may not know the name.
    You use it like a scourer, but it isn’t quite the same.
    Cos it won’t hurt your fingers, or scratch your precious china,
    So hang it with this dishcloth and your kitchen will look finer!

    That is the third Gilet I've done. First was for daughter's birthday and other two are for sisters for Christmas.

    Just wish I could come up with stuff for men as easily :p
