PS do you have the flavoured vodka recipe please? I had planned to do this in bottles for xmas and lost the recipe and do not know anyone who had tried it so would love to have your feedback and the recipe please.
Hi BuffI make 2 different flavoured vodkas - chillli vodka (just put 3 or 4 chopped chillis including seeds into vodka, leave for 4-5 days, strain liquid and bottle!!!) and a toffee vodka made with vodka and 3 Werthers Originals (the little round hard ones).
I have some recipes on my new blog, but haven't moved all of them over from the old one yet.... too lazy over Xmas
I did a handmade Xmas this year and plan to do the same for 2011.... I'm going to start earlier and do lots more if I can_____________________________________________party_ Handmade Christmas and Occassions 2011 _party_OS Moneysaving as much as I canGonna live 'The Good Life' - grow my own and 4 hens

Hi all, would like to join you on here if I may. I'm a long time crafter who needs to get back into it as not had as much time for it as I'd like for the last few years.
I've made cards for as long as I can remember and have "trained" family and friend to such an extent that now they think they've upset me in some way if they get a bought card lol, but the proper homemade stuff only goes to those who appreciate it properly.
One of my new year resolutions is to get my craft stash out again and to do a lot more this year. With a 20 month old DD and DS due 01/05 and an OU degree starting in Feb, don't quite know where I'm going to find the time though!0 -
ohhh me too please, I love crafting and fully intend on every gift i give this year to be hand made. I have already made a start on some cross stitch lettering for a bag for my daughters PE kit. I have got one of those shoppers bags and will stitch the lettering onto it and maybee a few motifs related to PE. I made a batch of candles the other day (christmas day i think, i dont actually celebrate it so hid away in the kitchen wilst the family did it) so they will be finnished and decorated at the weekend and added to the box (the present box thats now empty)0

Hi all
this year i made a sewed a simple tea cosy for my mum, and a peg bag. A few different choc bits like reindeer poo. i made some snowman soups and seven deadly sins for my dad, which was basically 7 choc bars wrapped in different coloured papers with a deadly sin on each! i made my daughter (2.5) a few bits, including a playmat, which has roads and a pond and bridge on. I have also sewn some 3d houses for her to place on there, but they arent quite done yet!
next year i am planning - a movie hamper for brother and girlfriend (coke/pepsi/7up, pringles, chocs, sweets, £5 blockbuster voucher). also for mothers day i am planning a breakfast in bed hamper, but it could be for any time of year. get my 2.5 year old to decorate a cheap plate, maybe get a nice vintrage/antique carboot knife, some mini jams and preserves, a cup with tea bag/coffee sample.
for my 2 SILs i am planning toffee vodka. i made sock cupcakes this year and next year i am planning choc yule logs, but with flannels instead. so will look out for brown flannels! and another small thing is a bauble of sweets, so a polystrene ball with ribbon on and then you use cocktail sticks to attach sweets, not explaining this well i know! or i might make a tree shape http://www.google.co.uk/images?q=gum+drop+tree&rls=com.microsoft:en-gb:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7ACAW_enGB332GB332&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=univ&ei=K_YcTfbPPNSxhQe57uW5Dg&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&ct=title&resnum=2&ved=0CEIQsAQwAQ&biw=1345&bih=574 found some pics!
i know these arent gifts but i also want to make myself some 3d bunting, so ribbon/cord with a felt xmas pud, xmas tree, robin, snowman, etc.0 -
