When Digital TV takes over will DVD players and video recorders still work or will they be obsolete?

You may have to re-jig the connections/wires but should work OK. Guide here..

You will need a TV set or conversion box with two digital tuners incorporated otherwise you will only be able to record the program you are watching on the TV, not watch one and record another.
