Not as powerful, but BestBuy have a Compaq for £250. That will be £225 with Quidco.

It's not the same spec. Slower processor, less memory, smaller hard drive.

I have found this one which might be of interest to anyone that missed out on the other one, not much difference in price PLUS a free printer! but less RAM. You have to claim the £100 cash back making it £309.
read the terms and conditions. I think I am going to go for this offer.

We missed out on this deal as well, but after a bit of hunting around came up with this one and we're just waiting for them to be delivered now

Have just bought the deal i posted below, forgot to mention it also has Windows Professional installed plus the free printer price £409 LESS £100 cashback. So, quite a good deal I feel, and I can purchase the extra RAM if I want for £25.
