Im interested in buying a 50in tv but i need a stand for the new tele but all the stand which websites say are for a 50in there mostly over a hundred pound, i was wondering if the stands for a 42in would fit a 50in tele.

No of course not they are for a max 42inch if that is what they state, if they would fit larger they could sell more so there is clearly a good reason for the max size or weight.

Why not just wall mount? doesnt need to be high can just wall mount just above an existing sideboard ect..0 -
