I say stick to your budget, the £120 blackberry is almost double your budget not very MSE of the community suggesting thoes phones, how about this phone http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/mobile-phones/NOKIA-C3/PPAY the good thing about carphone warehouse is the handsets are normaly unlocked (so work with any sim) yes you would have to buy the top up but it still works out a lot cheaper than buying the same phone handset only [STRIKE](and comes in pink)[/STRIKE]

edit: I take that link back and give you this one http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.209-1363.aspx same phone but direct from tesco mobile meaning if you have to buy the £10 top up you can use it, also look over these phones

Get the orange san fransisco and get it unlocked to any network you want for about a tenner on the high street, my kids chose O2 as they got 600 mins/unlimited texts & 500 data free. At less than £100 is has music, decent camera, emails, texts, facebook/ bebo/ internet/ games, a touch screen and not ugly or bulky. At 13 your choice of phone will change quite a few times depending on what is the in thing just now, and you dont want your mum slaving away to buy you a £500 phone that your more at risk of losing/ having stolen or that you will get bored of rapidly.

There is no way on earth i would be buying any of my kids an iphone or HTC which is what they wanted. All of them got the san fransico and are plesantly surprised with it. They have all said that the only thing they dont like about it is the orange sign on the back, but once its in a cover it wont be noticed :)
Great little phone, bought my son one for Christmas.

I am a 13 year old girl and my phone had a fault so we got a refund on it. I am looking for a phone suitable for me. I do want a BlackBerry but unfortunately i am not allowed. If you say that a BlackBerry is the best phone for me, please say why so I can persuade my mum lol. Thanks :)

Should you be on forums if you are only 13?
Your Mum has said no for good reason, just be thankful you are allowed a mobile phone at 13.
  • ok thanks for the ideas, i know what phone i am going to get now
