sorry to be pedantic, sense is spelt with a "s" not a C.

Agree- Good to see that there are people out there that can still spell!

not really a loophole, but its taking advantage of Gamestations trade in prices. It takes abit of research but it can be done with lots of games. It was easy when I worked for Gamestation :)

you can normally get a good idea of how much gamestation will give you by looking at their pre-owned prices on line. e.g. they normally give you £5 or £6 for games they sell for 12.99. £10 for games they sell for £20 etc.
  • Damn - when I bought Advance Wars it was £6.97 (from theHut, it's gone up to £13.97 now) - I could have made a mint if I'd bought more copies!

Huh? Selling second hand games is what (sadly) keeps GAME and Gamestation afloat. If anything the customer is the one getting ripped off... and it is not our problem if they do not keep tabs on the competitions pricing.

I think zeke was alluding to Game / Gamestation with that comment, not yourselves...

seems a little long winded really

better option is to go for a global unlockwii and that will save you £90 straight away on direct purchase (i'm getting some in very soon for friends)

    whats this "global unlock"?

  • Actually guys,

most of the savings came from using vouchers each time I bought a new copy of the game from Tescos. I got a pile of £5 off vouchers and ended up paying £7.74 per game. Hope this helps...BTW Game now offering only £13 trade-in.
