Just ordered my Christmas present for myself, I mean daughter.
I used this loophole:
Advance Wars Dual Strike £12.94 at Tescos, cheaper if you use vouchers.
Trade in price £15.00 for credit at Gamestation (and Game BTW)
Bought & traded in 12 copies, but not all at once
Outlay at Tesco £155.28 (used £60 of Sainsbury's vouchers in the process)
Credit at Gamestation £180
Can't wait to get delivery...gonna have to set it all up when DD is fast asleep to make sure it's all working, aherm.
Happy Hunting.

maybe someone with more patience than me will explain, porkie.
You need a suitable avatar too0 -
i completely understood - he bought 12 copys of the game at £12.94 and traded them for £15 per game in credit - Then bought the nintendo Wii with the credit ...
Well done - Genius way of doing it0 -
OP brought 12 copies of a game for £12.94 from Tesco's
Then traded them in at gamestation for a £15 in store credit, then used this credit to buy a Nintendo console, thus giving him £24 odd credit.0 -

Could have probably done a better trade in by getting the games off Ebay since trade-in games are second hand anyway and Ebay would have most likely been cheaper.
Although going out of your way to make £2 a game, couldn't you have just done an extra 3 or 4 hours at work and made the £24? Would have looked good to the boss too0 -
PMSL, 12 trips to Gamestation trading in the same game each time lol,
Did you do it one per day or did you do it all on the same day in different disguises (false mustache's, hats etc PMSL!!!)

seems a little long winded really
better option is to go for a global unlock wii and that will save you £90 straight away on direct purchase (i'm getting some in very soon for friends)0 -
Computer Exchange will give you £15 CASH for the same game or £19 exchange!0

You could have just bought second hand versions - the thought of all those new Adavnce Wars DS games being opened and shoved on a sticky shelf makes me shudder.
There are also better games to do this with. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney got me £20 in exchange a few months ago.0 -
