Aol account help

Hi

Has anyone had difficulty in accessing AOL Account Help?
I recently changed bank accounts, so changed my billing method details online. AOL are now taking payment from my old account and new account simultaneously, despite my account details showing my new payment details.

I now have the issue of being unable to access their help pages. Once, I managed to get a telephone number but when I rang it, it was answered with a heavy foreign accent who did not understand me nor me them. I made the mistake of not noting down the number. I now cannot access that page again nor any other help page.

Has anyone had this issue / know how to resolve it? Ideally, I am now after a postal address, as I am getting to the stage where I am thinking of cancelling AOL altogether.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Fiona

Did you not cancel your old direct debit when you set up the new one?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Hi. It wasn't direct debit. It was paid via card. When you log in to your aol account you simply change payment method - I simply changed my card details. Problem now is I cannot get back to that, nor to any help page to contact them. I'm therefore wondering if anyone knows of any contact details.

I am always emailing them about one thing or another. This week I asked them about the increase in my monthly payment when I have not had any prior notice. I am thinking of changing to Primus and taking the full package. With AOL I only pay for the Internet (broadband). By the way, AOL UK is owned by Talk Talk.

The number I have(although I never use it) is 0844 499 5555. You could phone and email them. They seem to have lots of different pages but on your email page you should see the word HELP which..eventually leads to the page you want.

If you are going to change, have a look at Primus as I noticed that Martin (MSE boss)
    recommends them.
  • Thanks. Will give it a ring.
  • Hi,

Don't know if this link will help, but it allows me to see my bill and gives payment options.
