    Hi Folks

Just a bit more info about my problem -

I am using Windows 7 and there are 4 printer icons in the control panel sub menu. The correct printer is set as the default and I downloaded the print driver from the Epson website and when it still wouldn't print, I downloaded it from the CD which was provided when I bought the printer.

Any further advice will be greatly appreciated.

id start by clearing the print queue then uninstall the drivers and anything to do with epson then start again by installing stuff form the cd, i do know from my canon printer it asked not to be connected to the pc whilst installing the software so maybe this is same for epsons but it should be in the instructions

I then got a message saying something about connecting to the printer ports.

That's when the blue box should have been in the top left, and you could have switched the printer off then on again

    Hi

I got rid of all the old stuff related to the printer and went through the installation procedure again. And now it works!

Diable - I would rather you give constructive advice than being cheeky!
