Have done a few times, One of my mates lives in Solihull..Have you not driven in London then?
Or Coventry for that matter, but I guess you can count that as simply a scaled-down mini-Birmingham with all the redeeming features removed to save space.
Live and work in Central London and my dad lives in Coventry lol.
London is the worst though..If Adam and Eve were created first
.Does that mean we are all inbred0 -
I always use my wing mirrors, far more than my interior mirror. I do fold them in when parking too, but that's just because I can

I'm blind in one eye, and remember a conversation with my dad- a rally driver- teaching me about mirror, signal, manouver.... He begged me to try and avoid an accident where possible, but said if it looked likely I would have oone, to not get hit on my blind side, as that could be used against me, as the standard mirrors don't cover the huge blind spot I have. I always check my mirrors, very strict on it, as I couldn't risk an accident and the possibility of being held liable.
On folding mirrors- what I've seen on quite a few of our work cars lately is faults created by ice and snow. Know of a few who've left their car untouched for a few days (BMW's seem to have come off worse, that's probably down to the majority vote for them here.), and when they've tried unfolding the mirrors, the mech goes. I've seen one also which was more a freak combination- the weight of the snow !!!!!!ed the mech.
Interior mirrors- I have a hatred of the fact they're a peg in most cars- shiny dice, cd's, small furry toys, LED tubes hangning from them.....0 -

It's the season of good will to all men, so please don't openly admit to being racist on a public forum as it could cause offense

I must be taxiist too......
Im sorry, but when you can look over at the driver of the car next to you and actually predict that they'll ignore the road signs/markings, go straight on or right from a left hand turn lane on a major traffic island (when your middle lane is also marked to go left), or see them weaving in/out of traffic with no regard for others, it does make for extremely stressful driving.
The recent Top Gear special said it all really, drivers using both sides of a dual carriageway to travel in BOTH directions.
What makes them miraculously become better drivers when they cross UK borders?
It's not their fault as such that we allow them on our roads.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Strider, I reckon that you are just " ist " against all other road users, you clearly are more " ist " about some particular sections of the community than others though.
Top Gear is hardly a shining example on matters relating to safe driving.0 -

So they asked a load of truck/car drivers in Iraq (or wherever it was) to drive the wrong way down the dual carriageway just for the TV camera's?“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
