Cut and blow dry for the price of a £3.20 magazine

I managed to get one of these free offers in Southampton last year, and a friend got one this year.
However, I would not recommend doing this for the Southampton salon if you have particular hopes for your hair. Both of us had poor experiences just a few months before our weddings.
It was pretty annoying because we had asked for specific cuts and the guy nodded and smiled, then just did his own thing.0 -
Hi, to help you all out, I live in the Cheshire Area and if anyone is struggling to get their hair done, I charge £10.00 for first hair cut and I travel to your house! I am Regis trained too ( Biggest hair and Beauty company in the World). Feel free to email me, suzannebadder@aol.com :T :eek:0

If you want a cheap hair cut why not try the training department of a local beauty school or college? they always want models and usually only charge for the materials. The students are always fully supervised. My local one does cut and blow dry for £3, highlights for £10, full set of nails extentions for £10, and they do a lovely facial, with massage, steam and face mask for £8, and they finish it with a full make up. Fab. (and there's always plenty of free tea and biccies) I usually finish with a trip to the training resturant where I have a three course meal for £3!0

Have just read all your views! and would like to share with you an offer that the sun paper is doing with the same hair group I think ! but also offering a further 25% discount on a colour treatment!
BUT .... you only need two vouchers printed in the sun on thursday 2nd Nov and friday 3rd so infact this has only cost me 70p instead of £3.20
Good Luck0 -

These people are just conartists after your details! I filled in one about 3years ago (it was advertised in glamour magazine during one of their free promo glamour weeks)-had nothing but junk mail afterwards! I live in Canterbury and had a salon not far from me that was supposedly part of the offer, they aknoweledged my details saying the salon would contact me to arrange an appointment, they didn't so a few months later I called them: They had never heard of 'the hair group'!Several of my friends tok part in the offer and also experienced the same problems.
I would avoid this offer like the plague, they collect you details and use them for marketing! shameless!Im very surprised no one has caught up with them yet!surely their has to be some sort of law preventing them from repeating this empty offer all the time!0 -

I do apologise for my very poor typing errors, spelling and absolutely appalling grammar my dad would be so ashamed!0 -
arsenalfan2006 wrote:This offer does not work. They had the same offer last year. I sent the voucher off and I heard back 2 months later that they did not have any participating stores even though the web site had listed my town with a shop. This is not worth the money as they are ripping people off. Also why the secrecy of which store it is to be???
I totally agree its a con - I sent for the offer - had to chase them after 1 1/2 months - the salon which was in my area had stopped doing this offer, I was scheduled for one further away - make appointment then they pulled out.
Its a very small number of salons that do this and they seem to change all the time - I will not bother again - but good luck and well done to those who have managed to get this. Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T0
