Hi,
My girlfriend is a hairdresser - these offers are great apparently, but unless the salon is completely empty all the time you'll be dealt with by a trainee stylist. This isn't a bad thing, the trainee will be supervised and checked at all times, but you need to be aware of it.
Therefore if the cut and blow dry isn't exactly brilliant then whatever you do please don't whinge loudly at the trainee - it's not their fault they're not perfect! I have to say this as when she was training and occasionally cocked up some people were so rude it's unbelievable.
Another point is that their full price is ridiculous. Going into a big name salon has no chance of being better than a smaller one, some of which only charge about £15 for this.
It'll most likely be fine though. Another moneysaving tip is to have a relationship with a hairdresser. It eats at their pride to have a partner with bad hair, and you generally get it for free0 -
arsenalfan2006 wrote:This offer does not work. They had the same offer last year. I sent the voucher off and I heard back 2 months later that they did not have any participating stores even though the web site had listed my town with a shop. This is not worth the money as they are ripping people off. Also why the secrecy of which store it is to be???
I had a similar problem - they told me that the participating salon no longer offered the haircut and they offered me a family portrait insteadEllie

Zest won't tell you exactly which salon it is as it's top secret info, but you'll be told if there's one in your postcode.
You can find out the participating salons as follows:
1) From the link to the hairgroup.co.uk on Martin's post, input your county. On the right, you will see a list of locations of the salons, with partial postcodes.
2) Each of the postcodes will be a hyperlink, ie you can click on it to get to streetmap.co.uk which pinpoints the salon location on a map.
3) On the bottom of the streetmap.co.uk screen in the small print, you should see "Click here to convert/measure co-ordinates". Click on "here" and you will see a screen showing various data including the "nearest postcode".
4) Then go to google or another search engine, type in the postcode and "salon", and the full details of the salon should come up. Voila! Then you can phone them eg to check out their normal prices.
Hope this helps0 -

That's a great idea, thanks! Unfortunately it didn't work for me as there are still about 10+ salons in the postcode vicinity. There must be a glut of them in this town!Quidco ~ £3,718 | Greasypalm ~ £354 | Freefivers ~ £45 | Pigsback ~ £260 shopping vouchers + 15 CDs

I think this is the same company used by McCain in their recent "Moments" promotion. I sent off the required number of coupons in July and I'm still waiting!0

I've sent off for mine. I'm hoping for a result...never mind bad hair day, I've had a bad hair life. That may be about to change! Will keep you posted!2014 GC: £957.61/ £54000
