Wandered into town, made the mistake of taking DD who had money to spend, luckily she eventually took myy advice and didnt buy the boots that would only zip halfway up her calves (yes she would have worn them like that at least until someone laughed at her!). New tea towels bought so old ones relgated to cleaning rags. GF bread bought so munched a turkey and watercress roll - nomnomnom a rare treat for me to eat bread.

Have been feeding the WM and TD and not a lot else but house is not looking too bad really.

Need to go and sort kids tea now as DD has friend for sleepover.

    Back later

    Kaz x

    PS hugs to Mrs LW,
    Thanks for the mule Toots

Really pleased for you Greenbee, you'll sleep well tonight.

Expecting everybody back soon so I'll get the ironing board out and block the living room so they don't get ideas about hogging the tv with the ps3/wii.

So if you're not still in old bag mood, you're working hard to prevent a return to it :p

Thank you all for your support - it's really helped, especially since the idiot bloke didn't come along because he thought he'd make things worse  as he managed to upset me when he called this morning...

    Glad all went well Greenbee.

My day hasn't exactly gone to plan!
Went to Costco - mainly for cat litter, but they only had 1 bag!
Haven't done any ironing.....and back at work tomorrow just for the day.
Am sick of wearing the same old rubbish, so really wanted to sort out my wardrobes. I lost so much stuff with those horrible wooly bear things. I still have clothes, I just dont know what goes together.
Oh well - will go and think about dinner, then I desperately need an early night so that I can get up handy.

    Nice news Greenbee

Well, never did get out today - apart from a quick trip to the corner shop. It's been so dark and gray and damp today, I've just wrapped myself up in the escapism of writing. I WILL get the book finished and published in 2011 - I said that last year and failed...

But, I've suddenly realised tomorrow is Thursday and I have family coming to visit in the afternoon so I ought to make an effort and tidy up - things aren't too bad really, just need a bit of decluttering and Dysoning. I also ought to think about a menu.... Hmmmm ... it's difficult not knowing how many are actually coming. It could be three, or it could be six... Hey ho, better get some of the turkey I popped in the freezer back out again I suspect - maybe just a big cauldron of hearty turkey and vegetable stoup - or maybe I ought to be a bit more culinaire than that and perhaps make a turkey and ham pie?

I'll put me thinking cap on...
