    Morning all,

Poor Rhys has been up most of the night being sick. :( So loads of bedding to get washed today. We've also got no cold water so i suppose there's a burst pipe somewhere.

Need to get the kitchen sorted now and then the livingroom again.:rotfl:

    Happy Birthday Kazlou. :bdaycake:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Can I join in??

I signed up to Flylady yesterday and cleaned the sink before bed. I also cleaned the rest of the kitchen by putting stuff away as the sink looked lonely all clean by itself!!

Basically, I need a mega clear out as we are moving Jan/Feb time. So todays de-clutter (rather than clean):

    Kids rooms:
    - Toys
    - Clothes
    - Bedding
    - Cupboards x 2 - List stuff on Ebay (My saxaphone and a keyboard as neither have been used in almost 2 years), chuck the junk and this evening I intend putting the photos in an old suitcase into the albums I bought 2 years ago. (Because then its only albums I need to take and can use the suitcase for something else)
    - Sort out the wedding dress and 2xbridesmaids outfits to the charity shop tomorrow.
    - Try and get some washing done in between

Although Flylady tells me to sort out the holiday gifts today. Once the cupboards are sorted I can put the new toys away ready for packing.

I think that will be enough for today; its going to be a long slog.
  • welcome skylight - and good luck with the move.

Morining all. Woke up to what I thought was heavy rain, but turns out the 3/4 empty building across from us has a burst pipe. Not surprised. The two upstairs floors are empty and unheated, and even have windows open, so it was going to happen.
The thaw seems on here at last.
vanilla~ Poor wee Rhys. Hope he's over the worst of it, and hope the no cold water thing isn't too serious. <<hugs>>

    Hi

This is the quote from the first post about what dailies are.

Daily routines/todailies are anything you need to do today and every day stuff like laundry, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc

Mine would include washing the dishes, HHI (half hour ironing), some washing, etc.

Normally we have a more detailed list of what to do each day and each day is a different room but pigpen is letting us recover from Christmas first.
