one thing I know about novatech is that if you wish to buy without any windows installed they give you the option with reduced price.
Since I do not use windows generally, I have bought a couple of PCs from novatech. They have a retail outlet in Reading which is near me, so items can be viewed (and tested out).

I'm an Ubuntu user too, so that's what has interested me about Novatech. I'm leaning slightly towards one of their systems with being 'Windows free' and decent spec for the price.0
