Last week I got £5 from Muller as I wrote to them and complained that one of their yoghurts was mouldy when it still had 3 days left on its use by date (true!). Today have emailed Mr Kipling, Ben & Jerry's, Haagen Dazs, Purina, Whiskas, Ribena, McCains, Pampers and Bic. Hoping for a few vouchers out of that lot! What did I do at work before I discovered MSE?!
DFD - WAS: a while ago
NOW - not sure, due to boyfriend going back to uni for masters and now pgce. Worth it in the long run!
Proud to be dealing with my debts!0 -
Got a letter from Haagen Dazs saying they don't send coupons :-( BUT I do have a coupon from a recent magazine to send off for a free tub so I'm not too bothered about that.
Also checked the price of the pearl drops in Tesco, the plain one was £3.49, they didn't stock the party sparkle one but I would presume this would be slightly more so I am pleased with that.

hi everyone, this is my first time on here although i have been following the site for months - I love it, it is a really great way to make the most of everything - I just have one thing that worries me!!! I have been enthusiastically writing off for vouchers and freebies etc and have been receiving many but I really don't agree with telling companies that they have faulty products or that i didn't like something just to get money off vouchers of products, call me a party-pooper but doesn't it just defeat the object of the game, soon the companies will stop with all the vouchers / freebies, infact they seem to be wising up to us already from what I can see on the site - an that is just a loss to everyone. In all honesty its also a little unfair as how can they give us products we like if we supply them with faulty info!! sorry to be a bore and no I do not work in the industry - i am just a housewife / mummy, trying to make the most of what i have too, like the rest of you.0

Hi tialog and welcome! I don't think you'll find anyone on here has falsely contacted companies about faultly goods. These companies rely heavily on consumers contacting them and giving their honest opinion, from what I have read if people are unhappy about anything then why not contact them. If you just like particular products or have never purchased them, then contact these companies and ask for vouchers, they can only say no to you. Hope this helps and happy shopping.0

I completely agree with you about false complaints to companies, and I'm sure everyone else here does, too. However, the whole point of this thread was to find companies that will send out vouchers if you just ask for them (and perhaps give them some feedback).
I have never made up compaints to companies, although I'd written my fair share of genuine complaints . And I am sure that everyone on this thread who has complained has had a valid reason to do so.0
