We now have 52 answers, 40 of which are confirmed. Items 28 & 31 seem to be from similar clues.

Unfortunately the spreadsheet answers have been re-arranged into alphabetical order, which may make it awkward to cross check previous comments.

I think number 31 is supposed to mention just the budgies. Also I dont think 'Pets do the funniest things' is even a show? I think it WAS 'Animals do the funniest things' but then they changed it to 'The Planet's funniest animals'? Think that should be changed.

Having a look through all of them to try and eliminate some, I cant see any that are a bit... iffy. Where is this 'Lucas North top left' or did it not show up on the scan?

The only other one Im not sure about whether its supposed to be there or not is the General Election, was it a program on TV?

    Ah right my bad.

Also I dont know if its meant to be a clue or not but theres a snow covered building in the background which could be a chapel, and be 'Whitechapel'.

I was thinking that 'Total Wipeout' should be there somewhere as it was quite a big 2010 show but the only thing I can link it to is the dog on the bauble, which looks strikingly similar to the big red balls on TW.

One more thing - the whole dog on ball with budgies on unicycles could be a whole thing as 'Animal Madhouse' which is on Channel 4....

    Some late thoughts
I've added Whitechapel and we now have 53 guesses.

The intro to the competition says that the shows have been on TV during 2010 - will that help eliminate some? I have added a column for shown on TV in 2010. Can people confirm.

We have not confirmed the man in the straighjacket - best guess is Mad Men

The dog and budgies - best guess is New Tricks - Animal Madhouse is an ailments/illnesses programme? and the Planet's Funniest Animals appears to be US programme - has it been shown this year? Too vague a link to Total Wipeout? My feeling is that the Dogs and Budgies are one show.

Al Murray - is there a connection to Courage Ales? Has he had a show 2010? Someone said "Courage Al" could refer to Heroes?

Polling Station - is attached to the Bakers - could this relate to Masterchef or British Bake Off rather than election coverage? I've changed the guess to The General Election 2010 (name of BBC coverage)

Pants on Fire - the show I've watched is called "Would I lie to you" with Brydon/Mitchell etc. There is also the US show Lie to Me. Liar Liar is a film.

The rocks/stones - two guesses - over the Rainbow (some are yellow) or 30 rock (I've counted 29 but could easily have missed one)

Well its hard to elliminate 3 of the ones we have, I've been through them several times and if I was going to eliminate any 3 it would be Planets Funniest Animals (Merge it into New Tricks), The General Election (I dont think that was an actual program was it?) and probably Whitechapel even though I just suggested it - its too vague. Could just be part of the background.

Do you reckon we'd get extra credit for spotting shows that they didnt?! :)

Agree with you on New Tricks.
Not sure about Heroes, wasnt it cancelled this year? Doesnt seem like a very good program to include on the list...
Would I lie to you is a good shout.
I was thinking the Polling Station would have more to do with some kind of soap... although I dont watch any so cant be sure - it just seems like one to eliminate if you get me.
About the rocks - I can only see about 27/28, and would they really be gold for no reason? Seems odd that not all of them are gold, and that theres around 30 of them, but if I had to get rid of 30 Rock or Over the Rainbow I have no idea which one I'd go with.

Tough decisions, I wonder if they know how many extra shows there could be?
