Some thoughts - I've been updating the spreadsheet

"Courage Ale" - anything to do with Coronation Street?

No :) Their [STRIKE]coloured water[/STRIKE] beer is Newton & Ridley.
Never put tables and chairs in the same room.
If they congregate together for any length of time, they will inevitably hatch plots against you and your pets.

In the top left of the picture there is a sign saying "Lucas North lived here". He's one of the characters in Spooks.

The link to the RT picture has bits missed off to the left - however I realised we have the magazine.

    Spooks - confirmed
Up AND Down on stairs - confirmed

I think Im right when I updated the spreadsheet to read 'SHerlock' instead of 'Sherlock Holmes' and 'The Great British Bake-Off' instead of 'Britains Bake off'

If not change them back but I think those are the correct titles.

Also Im 70% sure its not Britains Got Talent, instead something to do with clever animals. Also the 'Mad Men' tag seems a little wrong, why would they have an image of someone who doesnt seem to be in that show? I've never watched it but judging from the Images on Google, that actor doesnt seem to be part of the show. Why is he wearing a Napoleon hat?

Agree with Britain's got Talent. What about New Tricks (ie the idiom that you can't teach an old dog new tricks)?

Agree also with Mad Men - I do watch the show and it's not any of the characters BUT there are three men and in a straightjacket ie mad ??

So far no ones recognised the actor though. If we can recognise the actor then it would be a better clue than linking it straight away to a TV programme. Its a good link but surely they cant have just plucked a random guy off the street and dressed him up as a madman just for the sake of this quiz?

Also I think '30 Rock' is more likely to be 'Over the Rainbow' simply because of the rocks being yellow. 'Follow the yellow brick road....'
