I think it depends on what you want to do.. i found that calling them and then going into a local learn direct centre was more worthwhile and informative than looking through the website for the courses i was wanting to do.
They have actually put me onto a CompTIA A+ course (specialist IT) which would usually cost a few thousand pounds with some providers, for free with Business Ventures who are at my local college. Through these, i will also be able to take a number of microsoft qualifications for free.. again, saving me thousands of pounds.
The only requirement there was for this was that i lived in the local postcodes, which was fine anyway, as i wouldn't want to be travelling too far out of my way for a course.

Beginners Spanish or French would be best. I know a little bit of French (GCSE level) but I think I'd be better to start from scratch because my GCSE's were a bit longer ago than I'd care to remember!0
