Not really. Which model is it? You need to make sure you have the BB service provisioned to get things like BBM and e-mail, but wi-fi is quite straightforward.0

BB service is not set up at the moment.
get bb service requested asap, it takes upto 24 hours as once your network provisions it, it then goes through to blackberry for a seperate set of provisioning which covers bbm and blackberry app worldWho remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?0 -
what network are you on ???
have you informed your network provider ??
have you got a blackberry enabled sim ??
have you paid for BB ??
bluetooth set up should be a piece of cake (although I haven't had to set up ours)
Have bought one for my daughter (unlocked) from phones4u, bought a sim only deal from Tmobile, Paid for BB (£5) messenger etc, placed sim in phone everything worked a treat first time
have a look on Youtube, for a set up video0 -

Normally they should sign you up to Blackberry Services automatically. Follow the Blackberry Setup and you should be ok.0
