Still no joy at with this site but I am using Firefox and my technical advisor' keeper righter' otherwise known as DS had a quick look at the site and said it could have something to do with the 'slashes' being the wrong way round and he has found that IE gets less upset by this whereas Firefox likes everything to be just so. So this ties in with your comment Keiss. Just got lappy back after he has given it a bit of an overhaul so will have to check out IE later. So thank you girls for your help.:D

It's the thread box for me Flat Eric - but it would be wise to check out to see if it will store the bobbins. Love snoopy btw :D

Hugs to you and the boys Chicky :grouphug:
B_e_g - If you have a lot of threads to order, then ring or email Across Town, Louise is great and will do her best to help.

Lots of hugs to you ((((((chicky)))))) - hope your DH comes to his senses.

  • big hugs to you chicky, my dad was like that and so was my hubby, after ds1 was born. In the end it was normal for me, but baby never got to see his daddy. so i sat daddy down and said to him, you can mess me around as much as you like, but at the end of the day it will come back to bite you on the !!!! because it will be your children who resent you for not being around and i never married him untill he changed. dont get me wrong his not perfect now (after all he is a man!!) but he is alot better than he was.

think about what you want and do it dont be afraid you are a strong women and you can deal with anything.

hope your day gets better and come and rant to us we dont mind and it is good to unload.

love and hugs to you xxx

flat eric i think i would go with the threads but the ones on the bobbins

I have noticed that sew and so sell complete sets of the anchor and dmc threads for £300 odd  oh, to get a few balls on the lottery....

For the price sew and so want for one set you could get both sets from across town for slightly less money and have some extra skeins!

Soulie - BAD SOULIE!!! Just clicked the link to imagenation - you should so not have posted that link - I have no willpower where craft is concerned!!!

Stitching wise I did some of the Rene Mac Tulips last night as I was shattered and couldn't concentrate on the black aida.

Got a bargain on the carboot - a wooden footstool, nicely upholstered with a drawer in for stitchy stuff for £3! Will post a pic soon!

Lovethe progress on the stitching that everyone has done and the teddy is ace MoosMummy!

I'm with you Mags_cat and Judellie re the backstitching. I seem to have lost some of the va va voom now there is only backstitching to be done. Beginning to wish that I had done it as I went along - lesson learnt. :D Don't really want to start anything new until this is finished - got about half of the first page done - three more to go.

The colours on your tiger shelly seem to stand out really well - lovely and vibrant :T

Well done on your car booty bargain ejs :T. Didn't manage to get to one yesterday - just my luck - bet there was the find of the decade there (xstitchy wise) and I bloomin well missed it :rotfl:

    Take care everyone

won't rant on... neadless to say he's still here (well not actually at the mo... no prizes for guessing where he is I'm afraid), I'm still not happy about the situation. but hey ho.......

Across Town Stitching have updated their page (on my post) to say they are still working on a voucher code to save money on their site (YAY)but can't work out how to do it, they are going to ask their IT bloke tho ASAP.

The past impressions money off code (£5 off a £30 spend) is GV811CC. if anyone wants it (I'd forgotton to post). Expires 30/8/11

but it won't be for a couple of hours as am donating my laptop to the TV to watch The Smurfs - lol or maybe not as can't get the laptop/ tv/ stereo audio to work... GRRR

Heads up Louise from Across Town now 'likes' us on facebook :D
